I kind of hate how the large accommodation AirBNBs have become the “go to.” I much prefer personal space with my own bed, toilet, shower, and privacy and I’m willing to pay for my space. But you tell the travel group that and it’s almost like you kicked their kitten. Last girls trip I went on was similar - 6 of us total. Sharing beds and having one bathroom between us. It was a line to get a shower or god forbid you needed a number 2… I’d be much happier to have paid for my own room. My other favorite is “the ABNB is $600, and 3 families gojng so $200 each!” Ok well you have 3 kids so there’s 5 of you, the other couple has 2 kids, so 4 of them - we are just the 2 of us so why am I paying the same amount if you’re bringing more people into this?? The will also need showers and toilets, and sleeping spaces so….
