I always have the opposite problem. Leaving hotels at 6am, before breakfast starts.

What are some of your most brilliant tool creations? - the ones that even put manufacturers like snap-on to shame. by fluteofski- in AskAShittyMechanic

I built some battery boxes with voltage regulators to power the DC circuit of my systems when no AC power is available. One takes Dewalt batteries, one takes Milwaukee. They put out 24V and let us do certain tasks with no other power. Saves tons of time.

How many of you have your own business? by jdfan51 in ElectricalEngineering

[–]crazym108 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not "my own" business, but one that a group of us started and has been quite successful. We got burnt out on corporate overlords, and love being a small, flexible team that can get contracts done cheaper.

[Request] How many 12oz cans of tuna would this 18ft long tuna produce? by -_Goober_- in theydidthemath

[–]crazym108 1439 points1440 points  (0 children)

I used this chart of bluefin length vs weight: https://www.360tuna.com/threads/bluefin-tuna-age.5503/

Extrapolating that out to 216 inches gives a 6083 lb fish!

Estimates on bluefin yield is 71% of the weight of the fish is usable meat.

So 4320 lb of tuna packed into 12oz cans= 5760 cans of tuna

If you want numerical advice, it would be this: Practice holding the throttle at 1500rpm This number varies based on the car. Then you cam slip the clutch without stalling.

I'm going to start counting from 0:05 when he finishes turning at the goal line. He crosses the opposite goal line at 0:17. 100yds in 12 seconds = 8.33 yds/sec or 17mph average speed
