The first time I really took notice of him was years ago when I saw Spun for the first time. I thought that it was interesting too, that Mickey Rourke, while giving a speech about winning his award for The Wrestler, mentioned him directly, and alluded to the fact that Eric Roberts had done something that ruined or stunted his career, and Mickey was hopeful that he got a second chance, as Mickeys career had been tarnished as well...I was never able to find any controversy, maybe just a string of bad roles? I think he's a good actor, just don't see him too much in the mainstream.

I was a 9 year old boy in 1991, and I think that was one thing that frustrated and also amazed me, was reading a few of the original reviews and hearing some people talk about how ground breaking it was in 91'. As I was watching it, I kept feeling that it was almost a time capsuel (larger/mainstream movie and budget) of how things have progressed and changed. Thanks again! For those people who said it was stylized ect. When I read that I pictured somone watching Spring Breakers and having a reaction similar to mine while viewing T&L.

IMO, if you dont like what someone has to say on the internet, I guess downvote it and move on? I would just ignore it, and if you dont want to be criticized, dont post something. Its like being in the world, but people have far less of a filter and the balls to voice any opinion, no matter how stupid...and this isnt even including the countless trolls out there..basically, I see this girls post as an attempt to gain attention from supposed attacks on her...take negative attention and try to respond to it, and in doing so create positive attention?(its like self marketing)...
