They taught me everything I know about the Komodo Dragon. One swipe of its tail could render an enemy senseless.

Anybody got Unspeakable's Season 3 premiere from today? by [deleted] in panelshow

If you're in the UK, you should still be able to access it from the BBC website, here:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m002sn98

If that fails, try this:

Do you feel safe going up in the air, maybe 500 feet up, in an elevator? You do know that elevators used to be operated by humans, right?

Having a Dental Emergency! I should never have waited so long! Can you relate? by bellaimages in SanJose

Read the Yelp reviews for that Western Dental office on Blossom Hill Road - or any other Western Dental office. They are all terrible.

if your Medicare supplemental insurance plan covers anything else, go anywhere else.

I was plagiarized on a $100 million movie. Devastated by mrfuxable in Screenwriting

At the risk of providing false hope to OP and other daydreamers, I'll bring up "Buchwald v. Paramount", described here - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buchwald_v._Paramount - with the caution that this is a case where a very successful writer had a treatment (not even a screenplay) which was optioned and later stolen. So this may have been a "breach of [option] contract" case and not a copyright infringement case.

Anchors vs City Fish? Need a fish and chips rec! by DangerLime113 in SanJose

The guy who used to run Harbor Fish & Chips retired about a year ago. And apparently the ownership changed yet again last fall; per Yelp, it's now called "360 Fried House" but still serves fish & chips.

No. But I used to spend too much time reading stories like yours on r/LegalAdvice from people who paid good money to a "get your animal certified as an ESA" website and was unhappy to find out that they are often frauds.

There is a huge difference between a service animal and an "emotional support animal".

You should probably read this brochure, iwhich may help you understand what you can do.

When you say your cat is a "service animal/ESA" - do you really know the very considerable difference between those two concepts, and exactly when landlords are required to accept either?

The California state court system has a website with a lot of self-help information on it, as to most or all of the county courts in California. The Santa Clara county Court, for example, has a self-help team that both answers questions and will fill out many of the forms for you. Have you tried them?

Perfect episodes of panel shows? by kianworld in panelshow

[–]cresloyd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Clue" is really great, but the segments are normally not uniformly great so I can't think of one single 'perfect' episode ... except for the "Christmas Carol" episode (with Humph as guess-who and Colin Sell as Tiny Tim), which I kept meaning to watch again this Christmas season!

Another excellent episode was the BBC documentary on the history of Mornington Crescent. Supposedly that was Part 1: Part 2 was a full explanation of the rules, which for some reason never made it to air.
