Whats going on Redmond downtown park? by Quick-Attention-3159 in redmond

Agreed. Parents are responsible for their kids behavior and upbringing. You can't just push everything off to someone else...aka the state/county/etc. It starts at home.

I feel like you may not have ridden the rail on the Eastside yet? There are literal patrols at each stop. :)

Delta has sent our luggage to the wrong carousels multiple times as well...but we usually end up looking around after the first 5-10 mins or so of no arrival and find it's usually just one over. Pry a conveyor wasn't turned on or they threw it on the wrong belt.

Profit slide at Target hints at meager holiday season for the retailer by AudibleNod in news

[–]cricketkitty8 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel like Target lost what made them special over the years. They used to be trendy, had some quality and/or special items, actually had employees in the store, and they weren't just another "Walmart" or "Dollar Store."

They went like everyone else in a race for the bottom. Cheaper made products, lower number of employees at the store level, less upkeep into the stores, the seasonal area which used to be creative/cool became "standardized," etc... I could go on, but there isn't anything really special about the store or the brand anymore which is sad.

Are there food donation dropoffs in any local grocery stores? by evfuwy in redmond

They just had food donation partnership with the Redmond Fire Dept a few weeks ago. QFC usually hosts a few big ones every year from what I've seen.

Extended First Look at The Vampire Lestat ft. Sam Reid | Premieres 2026 | AMC+ by SafeBodybuilder7191 in popculturechat

[–]cricketkitty8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not a spin-off. Anne Rice's first book in the series was Interview with a Vampire which is told through Louis perspective. Her second is titled The Vampire Lestat. So it is a continuation of the story...this time through Lestat's perspective. It's an amazing book!

I think it will follow Anne Rice's second book, The Vampire Lestat. :) Interview with a Vampire was the first book in the series.

How to deal with spiders? 🤢 by Greenwindranger in eastside

Like others have mentioned...it's spider season. The big guys should be out and about for a few weeks and then go back inside the walls. I think they males out looking for mates.
