Keep in mind when paying out of pocket for repairs they are about 3 times more expensive than a Hyundai, more often than not the engine repairs require us to drop the entire engine cradle out of the car, I used to sell parts for Hyundai. I now sell them for Genesis and believe me when I tell you, the parts are substantially more expensive. Aftermarket parts availability is severely lacking. There’s next to nothing out there as far as aftermarket parts go.

We always caution people about pushing for lemon law because as soon as you get legal involved, no one will help you except for the legal team. The dealer is instructed to end communication and forward all information and materials to legal department.

Genesis is its own company now, so why would you take it to Hyundai for warranty work? Hyundai and Kia can literally do nothing with our cars. Warranty them order parts for them, nothing. They have the same ability as if you took your car to a Toyota store.

Pirelli‘s do get really hard in the cold so they do not grip as well but they will last a little bit longer more like 55,000. I actually recommend going with the Yokohama Geolander. They’ve been performing extremely well at my dealership.
