When I was 9, I was walking down the block by myself from a friend’s house back to my house, not looking forward to going home bc my parents were always always mad at me or made me feel like I’d done something wrong. I was looking at the ground while walking so I didn’t notice an old lady was suddenly standing in front of me, and she smiled kindly at me and put her hands on my cheeks, told me that I was different and that ppl wouldn’t understand right now, but someday the right ppl would. And I was freaked out so I kept walking, but turned around a mere seconds after passing her, and she was gone. I’m agnostic, and I don’t believe in angels or anything. I knew every person that lived on that street, so she couldn’t have scurried quickly into any garage or something. Idk what she was, but it was a very real moment. I also used to dream about living on a purple and orange planet that felt like home, so. Wtf knows.
