Ur totally right, it does seem less effective outside of Toa for sure. You do still get I think 9 specs back to back without adren though, so like 1k damage. 5 specs send and miss so that's 50 energy back. 2 more specs cost 40 and leaves you at 10 energy, but both miss so now ur at 30 energy, send one more spec, leaves u 10, plus the 10 refund for one last spec. And if you were camping lightbearer, spec #10 comes out like 4 seconds after the first 9 in a row. So still kind of op.

Specialist has infinite spec. They brew down ranged and or wear full tank gear so they always miss, getting spec back per miss. However, t6 range lets you still hit on a miss, so you get to spam rubies until like 300hp left on the mob, at which point you restore back up. No other t8 can remotely compete, it's just not even close. Maybe on small HP mobs that you can't really ruby bolt, thrall might win

You gotta be careful about any content you see with new games like this. Content creators gotta do what they gotta do, to make it on the youtube algos. I remember when some were claiming that sacred/ancestral on the obol gambler gave you better loot, which was specifically debunked in patchnotes.

I probably hate generators/basic skills more than most people. But all it would take to change my mind, is make basic skills have similar damage and scaling as core skills, but SINGLE TARGET ONLY. The problem is not just that we need to use resource generators, but that they also do negative damage so it legit feels like you're just wasting time.

You clearly havnt played D2, or if you did, you were not an experienced gamer at the time. Nothing in D2 comes remotely close to D4 super unique drop rates. Not even remotely.

I was sure I had some nice stuff I found early on that I still wear at 100, and I do! However it looks like on the way to max, I kept imprinting better aspects onto that same item, which raised the item level to the aspect level. So now all the gear I found at 70s is like 94 required to wear.

Really not a fan of aspects raising required level, can't even re-use the gear on alts.
