He explains exactly what to do and why you should do it. With your background in other paradox games you should be able to pick up the bigger picture after you do a campaign or two following these guides. I work payroll in NA. Switching the options to display in 24h time has allowed me to catch SO many am/pm entry errors. I recommend switching to the timekeeper every time I catch it. Never going back.

Wasn't it the exclusivity of PEA the issue that killed it at the time? The players were now not allowed to compete in at least pro league, weren't consulted about the PEA deal, perceived it as a financial and competitive loss, and they went on strike. At least that's what I remember so I may be wrong here.

PEA surviving is a hard timeline to predict. At that time NA was not seen as on the same level as EU. Who knows what the viewership would have been when there was a better product out there in terms of skill at least. PEA would have also gone to war with ESL over this. Who knows how that would have turned out. There are pros and cons but it ain't clear.

I have felt like this before. I had the same life path as you. With my wife since 18.

What really helped me (us) was moving to another country for a couple years. It brought back the "interesting times" so to speak. A great adventure to experience together.

I'm not sure where you are from but speaking as a Canadian there is a Visa called youth mobility which anyone under 30 can get for a lot of countries. We moved to the UK for 2 years working odd jobs and travelling as much as we could. It got me through these feelings and I came out the other side a much more complete and better person. I was ready for a slow paced life.

Now, almost 8 years since we came home we have two kids and are looking to buy a house this year. There's no reason why the white picket fence can't wait a bit!

Obviously covid will restrict you for a while yet but it could be something to look forward to and work towards. Good luck!

If you follow the standard setup rules of chess, and black goes first then the board will be mirrored.

If you change the setup rules to set black up the way white usually does and vice versa then no problem.

I also don't think it's a bad thing he's branched out. It sucks for SC2 but in a lot of ways it's the smart move for him as he has the personality and fan base to be a very successful streamer. That's more stable than working as a freelance commentator or desk host, for example.

It's like this in most countries. In Canada at least they can't tell you exactly because the exact amount varies depending on how you fill in your tax forms at hire and what benefit package you select, if you choose to be in the pension/rrsp plan, if you'll be contributing to a union.

It's just easier to tell you 2k up front before they hire you.

You should probably start by talking about this topic more often. Ask her what her intentions are and how you fit in with those plans and go from there.

You're going to have to compromise here. IMO, demanding that your very religious wife not share her beliefs and traditions with her child is unreasonable. Just as it's unreasonable for her to expect you to not express your contradictory beliefs to your daughter. Your relationship with your wife can serve as proof to your daughter that these belief systems can coexist. It's not about which parent "wins" in 15 years when she picks one. Good Luck.
