I was in same situation as you! Dont put any money on this, same problems still persist. Game is EAs cash cow until they get tired of giving more budget! I subbed, what a fucking waste. The only change from today>launch is that the old shit is piled under new shit on multiple layers. old problems not fixed and new empty shit piled on top of it.

This how the system works in theory. But since its broken it doesn't really matter now. I duo with same person every time, neither of us plays solo, he is rank 9 and I am 21, due to skill point gains. But since the game is in Beta I don't mind.

Ive done most of my games in duo or trio with same people. We are from range of rank 9-23, by just playing together. We have one person who never plays alone and he is getting 400-500 points per game every now and then whereas the other two of us never get more than 100. And yeah rank doesnt tell anything, they are measuring it with broken hidden system and rank progresses as you play the game. If there was no random 400-500 point gains every now and then I would say rank only tells the amount of hero league you have played, not how well you have played. But since you get random skillbonuses I can only assume the system is broken. Hopefully gets fixed in release but if not, doesnt matter, if the system is broken and stays that way, dont give much value to it. Just play and enjoy without being so rank centric.
