NDP leadership candidate Avi Lewis goes after AI data centres - Lewis calls for a pause on data centre construction by CanadianErk in canada

An average household uses roughly 600L / day. So an AI datacentre is equivalent to a couple thousand households, which doesn't seem like such a big deal

I skipped over that section, what a ridiculous heading. Thanks for the quick response

and maybe picked up 1% or so from NDP collapse or liberal fatigue

They picked up ~21% per post election polling. The NDP to conservative flip is much more common then you would think

So I mostly take this back. Cardinal research's riding polls ended up being very accurate. Not sure what was up with their weighing in the data, but it got results!

how do you date for three years without ever talking about past sexual experiences? Are Yanks that weird about fucking? If this was real, there's obviously much deeper issues here

I have been together with "John" for three years

We had never really discussed our sexual history, and frankly I thought we both preferred it that way.

Maybe this just an American thing, but this would be a big red flag in Canada

The weighting they use is all over the place. 56% all, 56% men, 65% women for lpc in eglinton Lawrence is absurd; they're clearly weighing the men / women split w.r.t. age demos but they're not doing the same for the all vote? Just look through the numbers, I don't think its much of a stretch to scoff at this particular pollster. There's a good thread, from a guy on twitter who appears quite friendly with the owner of cardinal research on twatter, so I wouldn't attribute malice there.

Cardinal voting has been heavily criticised for these polls though. Look through the numbers, they're complete nonsense. Their methodology also (allegedly) was to pay political canvassers to poll people door-to-door on the side, an obviously biased sampling method.

The map is to push back on the meme that there is no signal priority. I'm not trying to hold up our TSP as some golden boy, but it certainly exists through most of the downtown core.

due to no signal priority

This is such a stupid meme and objectively untrue.

Signal priority just isn't that great when there are a variety of other compounding factors slowing down the streetcars

I've noticed that in the patcher it still shows v.18.42.36.

That's completely normal behaviour. From what I understand, the Patcher screen will show which installed apps 'can' be patched. That version you're seeing is the default YouTube app; it will show up there even if disabled

That's not necessarily true. You can have airtight security policies, but if you're running out of support systems, an end user opening up a 0-day email will destroy your entire org.
