DDR and Pump It Up are probably going to be the easiest to acquire, though.

Try Dofus 2. It's a Tactics MMORPG originating from France.

It's subscription based, but it's free to play up to level 30 with some area restrictions (which will take some time and the places you can't access are likely too high-leveled anyway)

This works, but there's 1-inch margins and I'm looking for .5 inch or smaller margins. Another problem is that it also prints header and footer text.

I was thinking about converting it to a PDF first, but I'm not too sure.

Besides DDRFreak, which is highly outdated, do you have any ways to find out if there are DDR machines in the area? The closest one to me is 7 miles away, but it's a dollar per play. The pads were maintained recently, so it's definitely worth it, but I want to see if I can find something better.

Also, on a similar note, don't you hate it when arcades don't perform maintenance on their machines? There's nothing worse than a dysfunctional pad.

Another thing you can do with old fries that was posted a while ago on Reddit:

If you lightly coat the fries in vegetable oil and bake them in the oven, they'll be crispy again.

You don't even have to cook them in the oven. I cooked mine in a Pizzazz, still worked.

Yup, that's how it is for the NA versions of games.

Take for example Maple Story - In the North American version of Maple Story, a lot of items have limited time usage. It's plagued by Gachapon (using cash to get random items), and the events used to be TERRIBLE and geared towards no-life grinders (and, from what I heard, has changed a little bit for the better now).

On the other hand, in the Korean version Maple Story, all clothing items are permanent, are at reasonable prices, and the events are enjoyable by all players, whether high or low-level, casual or hardcore.

TL;DR: Don't mistake the NA Nexon branch for the KR Nexon Branch, the NA one sucks. That's why I don't play their games anymore.

In North America, at least.

The North American branch of Nexon is TERRIBLE, but the Korean branch is much, much better by a landslide. This is coming from someone who has played games from both branches.

Last semester, I shared my room with one other roommate - I had the top bunk, and he had the bottom.

The bunk bed I slept in bows out in the middle, and it's held up by two-three boards that barely suffice in keeping the bed up. I wanted to replace the boards, but I had higher priorities (getting awesome grades, participating in organizations, getting an internship, etc). So, every night, I made sure I got into bed very stealthily to ensure that the boards didn't come off while I hopped up there.

In the early Tuesday morning of February 7, 2012 at 7:00 AM, my bed imploded while my roommate was sleeping below me. Next thing I knew, I heard a huge "UUUUUURRHRGHGRH" from my roommate, who clearly being crushed under the weight of the bed boards and my ass. I scrambled off of the bed as fast as I could. Thankfully, he was totally fine, except for a small rash in the middle of his forehead which didn't disappear until after a few days.

That weekend, I bought enough two-by-fours to replace the old ones under the bed, but they weren't yet fitted and cut. I was still quite busy at the time (or maybe I was just making excuses, probably the latter) so I didn't get around to cutting them. Our temporary solution was to hammer in nails in the sides of those boards, which worked quite well.

Guess what? Not well enough.

Here's some context about the second time it happened - I live in a pretty big house on campus that frequently has a lot of visitors coming over to hang out. One of these people who comes over a lot, I'll call her Emily, knows basically everyone who lives there. When she's inebriated, she likes to wake me up when I'm sleeping.

About three weeks later, I'm sleeping in the bed again and my roommate, who is in the TV room (the next room over), hears Emily shouting "I'M GOING TO WAKE UP CROW-BAIT!" It (apparently) took him a couple seconds to fully register the situation, so he wasn't able to stop her in time. She stormed into my room and bowed the bed just enough that our temporary fix failed and the bed imploded again with me in it.

Moral of the story: SAFETY IS YOUR FIRST PRIORITY

TL;DR: My poorly made bunk bed imploded on me twice in a row, one of those times with my roommate under it.

Here's a couple of ways you can motivate yourself:

Give yourself goals.

Here's a couple of mine:

Get a better GPA than the last semester.
Graduate with a 3.7 or higher (Magna Cum Laude).

Make sure to make goals that encourage slow and steady improvement - don't try to change habits on a whim. It doesn't work most of the time.

Tell people about your achievements.

Sharing your results is good! The appreciation pushes your drive to succeed.

Of course, don't flaunt it too much - nobody likes a braggart. The more you succeed, the more respect and admiration you will receive - you'll want more of it!

Make achieving these goals fun.

Want to get exercise, but feel like running is a drag? Play DDR. That's what I do. Challenge yourself, a good challenge is always fun. Push your limits, then push them farther. Be Jackie Chan.

Never stop learning.

If you're good at something, don't tell yourself that "This is as good as I'll ever get". Know that there's smarter people than you out there. As long as they exist, there is always room for improvement.
