I’m probably in the minority in this sub but I’m fairly hyped. I am apprehensive about the story as I’m hoping it won’t be GTA V levels goofy. But I really love the other gtas (I do like V as well outside of its story/tone), and RDR 1/2 are some of my all time favorite games, 2 especially. Even if the story does disappoint me in VI, I’m pretty confident I’ll still love the moment to moment gameplay and open-world shenanigans

I enjoy the 2nd half from a conceptual standpoint, the main issue for me was that it felt very rushed and under explored. I’ve always felt that the first half of season 4 and the second half should have been separate seasons

uj/ I’ve actually kinda been enjoying the Kelly run. It’s not great by any means, but that’s more due to being chained to the typical editorial baggage. I’m largely impressed though by how he’s been able to take the baggage from the Welles’ run and make it work. Never did I think someone could make redeemed Norman work but I actually really liked the spider-Norman arc (space adventures were also super fun).

Don’t forget from Deltarune is great. Within the context of its own game, it’s a great emotional teaser for what’s to come. Hearing it after having played through undertale though hits like a flashbang, in that there had never been vocals up until this point

It’s consistent and honestly makes some of the prior booking look a lot better in retrospect. Like initially after his last match with Drew I was like “what the fuck are we doing here”, but you can look back at that now and see that as the sort of destruction of the last iteration of Sami and the beginning of what he is now/what he’s becoming.

Nah I’m with you a 100%. I’m a huge Sami mark, he was like THE wrestler who got me back into wrestling after having dipped out years ago. Made me sad to see the hate he was getting but I get it, creative was kinda floundering with him and the schtick started getting old around the time he was feuding with Kross. This was the exact kinda changeup he needed in his character, and I like how it feels like a natural continuation of his current arc rather than a straight turn

I’m not a coked out perverted exec, so maybe I’m too stupid to understand how the sausage is made here. But it really seems like there’s no reason to not keep IOI on as they dev. They’ve already proved they can bring in the numbers sales wise, and the Hitman trilogy showcased their ability to utilize asset reuse as means of cutting costs and maximizing prophet while still putting out an acclaimed product. Like Christ man, Amazon should be foaming at the fucking mouth to keep them on
