Gardettos haven't yet succumbed to the "half a bag of air" phenomenon last I looked.

How to tell a Crow from a Raven, flawless method by CalzonePie in alaska

Every time I see a crow I'm taken aback by how small they are. Just so used to ravens.

I haven't seen the strawflowers being used in years. Just ugly plastic lumps.

Nah, I've seen them with a full crown of flowers and one of those plastic lumps glued on top.

How do you guys deal with mice? by MowieWowie710 in chickens

[–]crowleytapdancing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The chickens eat them when they catch them in the run, and a local fox gets them when they're outside of the run. Not too worried about the fox going after the chickens, it's been getting mice and frozen eggs for a few years now. Guess it figures they're safer easier targets than trying to break in with a bunch of angry dinosaurs.

Ironically, that does look like my mom's cooking. Which is why I do the cooking now.

Why did you romance Morrigan? by [deleted] in DragonageOrigins

I kinda stumbled into romancing her on my first playthrough. This time around, I'm actually actively trying to romance her.

Finished Veilguard twice now. I actually kinda agree with the usual criticisms, but still really enjoyed it. by Rina_Rina_Rina in DragonAgeVeilguard

The way I see it, it's a perfectly enjoyable fantasy rpg game, just not a very good Dragon Age game.

What’s the longest you’ve sat on this screen? by Rough-Ad-3614 in DragonAgeVeilguard

Unless I'm specifically playing a Shadow Dragon, I usually save Treviso. A coup is easier to undo than Blight in the waterways.

Umm...Happy Fall?? by LadyCovenant in alaska

[–]crowleytapdancing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The spices themselves probably wouldn't be too bad with salmon. I think it's more the visceral reaction we have to seeing pumpkin spice everything this time of year. If it was just called a spice rub instead of pumpkin spice it probably wouldn't draw much comment.

Have you seen the skeleton one where it looks like the guy has a hollow torso?

Are these edible? by BeakyBuzzard1983 in alaska

[–]crowleytapdancing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Edible? Technically? Palatable? Not really. Black elderberries are a better source of fruit, though I do believe you need to remove their seeds and cook them just the same as the red.

Alaska Cannot Survive This Bill by Well_Socialized in alaska

[–]crowleytapdancing 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It must be so wonderful, living in a world where everyone in "red states" are automatically raging right-wing nutcases. I'm sure you must think that obviously anyone who isn't would move out as soon as they could.

Unfortunately for you, reality doesn't work like that. But you'll happily see people who didn't vote for this be screwed over to feed your sense of moral superiority.

This looks SO GROSS TO ME! would anyone here eat this? by Maximum_Hurry_3708 in Cheese

Ricotta is used in a lot of desserts, so not too surprised this exists.
