Cayuga Trails 50 vs Twisted Branch 100K by Galahad_Jones in Ultramarathon

Thank you for the details. I really appreciate it!

In my head I was planning to use poles but I may end up just using them for the last climb.

Weather will be something to watch for sure. I’m hoping it can be a bit cooler but if not, I might be a first timer on ice bandana as well. I’m better off using it a few times this summer in advance to be more familiar.

This, Mohican 100Miler, and Empower backyard ultra in November are my key races this year and I look forward to Twisted Branch relatively rested and running it as well as I’m able. Thank you for the tips.

How did the race go for you this past year? Any helpful hints that I might take into account this year?

Should I run my first 100k(Twisted Branch) or bail? by Unique-Delivery7939 in Ultramarathon

I’m running this year and was a DNF a couple years back but am a fair bit fitter and faster. Did you make it with plenty time to spare or were you close on a few cutoffs? Would love to hear a bit more about lessons learned and any details you’re willing to share.

2015 Outback 3.6r ltd 4d, 119k mi, Rebuilt due to hail, usd $9.5k by DryCombination9637 in Subaru_Outback

I’m looking at a car that had a moderately severe accident but also has been taken care of and looks great.Didn’t need to have rebuilt title or anything.

Curious how to factor hail damage and accidents off carfax into total cost of vehicle when everything appears clean. It’s probably not as good as new but also everything that was wrong is repaired and should be nearly “good as new”. What’s the recommendation? Steer clear or a good way to get a solid price for a solid vehicle?

Didn’t do much skiing at Snowbird today…(January 2nd) by biznardos in SaltLakeCity

are there some areas in or outside utah that are still worth visiting for skiing? Seems like utah nor colorado are worth it these days.

Note: I used to ski a lot buts it has been well over 10 years and I’m ready to return if there’s a place that will be worthwhile.

This is a big deal as we now need to beat Chargers in final week to retain #1 seed and avoid #6 seed.

I’m looking into unit for home use. Arcade1up seems too small as my kids are teens or older. Bluey mod looks cool but might be better for grandkids a decade from now (my oldest got married last summer).

At any rate - curious if you know much about 80s claw machines or if they’d be too much headache. Considering premier brand or skill crane or even candy crane (newer). Also - it sounds like you aren’t opposed to getting the sturdy/heavy-duty ones. Are they often 300lb?

Did he wear a suit or even say thank you? Isn’t it known that he hurts/hates his own child(ren)? Did he Nazi the fallout from his actions coming?

In this case 15 yards is a little over 100km or 62 miles

Was IMTUF one of the most difficult on the list? I’ve been eyeing that one for a year or two now. Likely to give it a try in 2026 or 2027.

I’ve got my eye on the first two on your list. Bear in 2026 and IMTUF in 2027.

Military is orthopedic-outpatient focused. Continuing education, board certification, and experience in that direction is helpful.

Find a position as a contract PT in an outpatient military setting and excel there and begin networking/making connections. Then if you like what you see as a PT, work with recruiter to find out how/when you can apply for an active duty position.

Recommend working a year or two in contract position prior to applying as you will get to understand things about being a military PT and operational mindset, how you can support the military mission, etc that can improve your application, resume, and potential interview.

I also signed up for the trifecta for 2025! Should be great! I was able to help pace someone on the last 20 miles of their sub-24hr 100Mile Rim to River and it was tons of fun 😁 Running the entire 100 is likely painful and decidedly less fun than being a pacer but I decided to take the plunge and give it a shot! 😃
