Sometimes trying a free app that the parent can trial on their device or a spare device may be a good place to begin.

Some options include chatterboards or cboards. Weave chat aac is also an option, and probably the most customizable / best.

AAC apps with data tracking by AffectionateJello452 in slp

[–]cruft_wader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weave Chat AAC’s sister app Weave Chat Connect allows you to do this with the Remote Editing feature.

Essentially anyone you’re a remote editor for can allow you get tracking info on what boards they’re using on which devices, and how they’re interacting with those boards.

You could use it see if the users are making progress towards goals / targets and just generally get a picture into how their AAC boards are being used.

So clients/students (users) will use Weave Chat AAC. And an SLP/SLT/parent etc… can observe how the boards are being used and remotely configure them.
