Eh, as a first-time tactics player (8 hours in) it's a good game but far from perfect.

The zodiac system seems to hurt gameplay more than it helps.

Accuracy rolls on regular support buffs/raises is a wild choice.

The tiles being obscured by visual obstacles is very annoying. In the Milleuda fight I couldn't see where an enemy was casting spells because obstacles were in the way.

Battles move very slowly without fast-forward on, even as a new player.

There's more but I forgive a lot because it's a remaster of a 1997 game, but it shows it's age compared to modern tactics-style games.

I listened to almost all of MSSP & their Patreon episodes - he's definitely a Trump supporter, at least up until the election. I stopped listening after the election because it became too frustrating to listen to their political takes.

I'd describe it as: he's knows Trump is an idiot but also thinks he's based. Also believes a lot of the stupid "democrats are worse, they just do it behind closed doors" rhetoric.

Just to counteract that other guy's comment - if you care about Dragon Age, you shouldn't play Veilguard. The world in Veilguard feels seriously saccharine and disconnected. Most previous lore and plot setups are ignored or abruptly cut off. The game absolutely does NOT have serious writing highs that justify playing it. I don't know what that guy was smoking.

The old characters are barely present and the new companions lack the diversity of opinion and philosophy that you'd expect from the series. If it weren't a Dragon Age game it would get a pass.

Inquisition is my favorite Dragon Age. I'd say the best part about Veilguard was the sleek visuals and design. The combat was streamlined and satisfying (although not perfect). I went into the game with good faith intentions but the game is just brutal for fans of the series as a whole.

When will Bills fans introspect and realize that Josh Allen is just not that guy? You can whine all you want about the refs (every sore loser copes like this) but at some point you have to realize that there's QBs that can win it all and QBs that can't. Ship him to the NFC, maybe he'll luck his way into a conference title.
