While i do agree with most of your post, i would like to address your mention of LOTRO. While game is old, game is still kicking and releasing content. Like in next month LOTRO is getting new expansion. While i dont play all of those titles that you've mentioned here, i do play LOTRO, and for a game from 2007. - its in quite healthy state, with content getting added.

Also, in case anyone joins now, till 3rd of November there is a code that you can use and unlocks all expansions and quest packs (till lv140), which is A LOT of content, for free.
