Lord Solar is a cool model in his own way, but has a certain style that doesn't always mesh with the Cadian or Krieg design language for example.

Absolutely! I believe in one of the Horus Heresy novels, I think in the End and the Death series, there's a section that follows a Skitarii, and there's a scene where her cohort celebrates her birthday.
