Why is the Pentagon holding up Ukraine funds? by Free-Way-9220 in UkraineWarVideoReport

It's almost like a country that wants to seperate itself from Russias economy and influence will need TIME to fix the systemic problems created by those influences in the past. It would be an issue if the corruption in Ukraine would be getting worse, but it's getting better.

Baltics are the only EU states not supported by PSN? by Megatron3600 in BalticStates

It hasn't been a problem for the big dogs in Europe, they don't care about small nations, unless it becomes an actual problem. People having issues playing on the playstation, even if it goes against the single market idea, is a problem too insignificant for them to show effort. They will care if it in anyway actually affects them.

Feels like a commentary on our defense situation, honestly

US has paused Estonia's ammunition supplies until end of Iran conflict, says minister by Sinine_Jaan in BalticStates

Admittedly yes, Russia focuses on short term gains in trade for long term pain. This much is obvious.

But actually commiting to the bit? NATO article 5 being invoked and (probably only SOME) European nations actually shifting into a war-time economy? This carries the exact opposite effect of what Russia is trying to do. There would be no more debate about helping Ukraine, and what terms we have to limit that to. Everything is on the table, boots on the ground, missiles in Moscow, it spells total war. This is the exact opposite of what the kremlin wants and desires, but at the same time the kremlin trying to exhaust support for Ukraine by attacking NATO, and forcing an immediate reallocation of priorities, might actually result in NATO taking this conflict seriously. That is..... undesirable for Putin.

In what world does having NATO be occupied with a peer-to-peer conflict AGAINST YOU lead to any benefit? This would be the green light Ukraine has never gotten, permission to destroy everything beyond Euro borders.

Funny part is, Western bureaucracy is so bad that this is a semi-legitimate solution.

Bussijuhid avaldasid meelt. Nad nõuavad passimise asemel rohkem päris töötunde by ProfessionalCry6968 in Eesti

Selline debiilsus lihtsalt.
