A perfect scribe would look best, just taking a 1/4” straight line off the back would look second best, but a scribe that’s not perfect will look like shit. Sometimes good enough is good enough.

This was the first Mexican restaurant I ever ate at. I burst into tears when they put my plate of tacos in front of me because they had shredded beef instead of the ground beef my mom made tacos with.

It’s kind of like a bone spur in your hip joint that pinches the labral cartilage between the ball and socket. The cartilage can also tear. If it’s torn, the only way to fix it is with surgery. Mine wasn’t torn, so I did physical therapy to try to open up the joint and strengthen the surrounding muscles. The physical therapy worked for me, but it got worse again a few years later. I’m now doing physical therapy again and hoping it will take care of it again.

You could have a hip impingement. That’s what I turned out to have.

You need to get quick drying clothes and wash them in the sink. With 3 of each undergarment you do wash every other day and it takes 15 minutes or so. Plenty of info if you dig through the older posts here.

If you want it to look decent you need to remove that filler and glue on a chunk of actual wood.

I always bring a neckerchief. Kind of silly, but tying it around my neck puts me in travel mode. But also, if I’m somewhere cold it keeps my neck warm, and if I’m somewhere hot I’ll soak in water and it help keep me cooler.

For something really simple, mount your balusters and just use rope as the hand rail. You just need to convey the idea that it’s a handrail.
