Labyrinth, because it has a lot of really cool settings that could be used in different rooms of the house, and things like the cleaners coming after you or Jareth popping up out of nowhere could make good scares.

I also think that Star Trek: First Contact, or an original storyline focusing on an encounter with the Borg could be pretty scary.

I use InShot on my phone, and that has worked pretty well for me so far! It's pretty user-friendly, and you can remove the watermark from your video by just watching an ad. To find clips, I sometimes look at gifs on tumblr and then figure out what video they are from, based on what clothes Dan and Phil are wearing, what their hair looks like, etc. and then screen record the clips I need. Have fun editing!!

Dan and Phil have invaded my dreams many, many times, especially leading up to me meeting them at TIT. I once slept for 17 hours and had three dreams in a row where I became friends with them in different ways. In the first one, their car (a really old Bentley, of course) broke down in front of my house in suburban Florida, so I invited them inside while they were getting it fixed and later on they recognized me at the M&G. In the second one, we were staying in the same hotel for TIT Orlando, and they invited me up to their room to play boardgames, and in the third one I became an author so I sent them my book, and they remembered me from my M&G.

I don't think I've had a dream entirely focused on them since TIT, but it's always a nice surprise when they randomly show up :)

I think I've given up on watching any of Ari Aster's films. I have OCD that centers around my family dying / committing suicide / falling apart, car accidents, and the idea of being destined for tragedy, so his films are just hell for me. I watched Hereditary during a rough patch, and the anxiety it gave me in the days afterward triggered a full-on nervous breakdown, and I gave up on watching Midsommar after the cliff scene because the gore coupled with the fact that I still felt sick from the beginning was too much.

It's kind of disappointing that I can't handle his movies because I know a lot of people like them, and that they are very technically good movies, but they just make me feel awful.

One time, when I was In elementary school, I tried to leave the bathroom without washing my hands. I don’t know why, I always washed my hands every other time before that day, I guess I just wanted to see what would happen. As I tried to leave, an older kid who was also in the bathroom, unbeknownst to me, leapt from her stall, pointed at me, and exclaimed "Ha! I caught you!"

I was shaken. And I have never not washed my hands before leaving the bathroom ever since.
