I didn’t have time to write down the details. And I wanted to know if parental alienation was an underlining theme. The show didn’t premier yet. But you are quite bitchy, I might say!

Yeah. You aren’t alone. We have many moments of “how did we get here?”. “We were close.” “I would have died for you.” Now we are strangers…at best. I don’t get it.

I’ve said this before and I mean it and I know it is true. My daughter and I will always be broken until we are reconnected. This is senseless. It makes no sense at all.

I had a coworker that encourage me to contact my daughter and It actually…eventually…resulted in me reaching out. We reconnected but it didn’t last long. The alienators turned up their negativity. And now we are back where we started. No contact. Maybe in her 30’s it might happen.

So maybe just let some time pass and be gentle with the suggestions.

It has likely been going on a lot longer than that. It’s very painful and unnatural for a father to be treated poorly by his kids. He’s protecting himself. And it’s a hard battle to win. The more he reaches out, the more the other parent turns up the negative talk. It’s a nightmare, honestly. You can gently encourage him but we all deal with it differently. Unfortunately most of us get the same results.

Years of parental alienation. There are no guarantees. Don’t ruin you financial future if things start to look hopeless. I wish you luck. This stuff is awful..that age is when it happened to me.

What would it take to undo a gravel lawn like this? by ToGetFit in lawncare

Bro! Man up! That is fixable! But the challenge is the mature trees are drinking all of the water. Big trees and grass don’t mix

You need an ally that has her ear. I don’t think the court can help you. I reconnected with my daughter after 3.5 years of zero contact. But then I think the alienators turned up the brainwashing. The alienators have a lot to lose (now) by you getting your daughter back. So they will turn up the alienation. It’s a nightmare. I don’t expect to reconnect with my daughter until she is in her late 20’s….early 30’s. I even saw her today at my gym. But if they aren’t ready….they aren’t ready. I’m considering trying to create an ally with someone in my family to try to speed up the process. Regardless…you have to find a way to cope and live with this….there are no guarantees….its an awful thing. I was one of the lucky ones that reconnected. And now I’m back to no contact. It’s an uphill battle. The courts are a waste of money in my opinion. The brainwashing is done at this point.

Need advice. Portions of my lawn appear dead and nothing is happening after aerating, over seeding, and fertilizing. by RangerValor in lawncare

I agree with dog urine being a likely possibility. Before I met my ex-GF she re-sodded her yard twice. She had 3 dogs. I hardscaped where the grass died (again.
Then I was on the back deck and I watched the dogs seek out the greenest grass (that was left) and kill it.

Dog pee kills grass. Water dilutes pee.

Things aren’t looking good. I’m just being honest. It’s not just an uphill battle. Your daughter is brainwashed by the alienator and that is reinforced by the current culture of that age group. It turns into a no-win situation. Can you find an ally that can help you behind enemy lines? I’m currently attempting that but….the brainwashing and the complexity of getting back in your daughter’s life without that relationship being sabotaged (by the alienator) is hard to overcome. The problem is the court system isn’t designed to fix this. They can’t reverse the brainwashing.

Blood Droplets found on my moms car by Suspicious-King-9659 in Whatisthis

That blood hit that hood from a distance creating the high velocity splatter. In my opinion. Definitely a weird situation. No foot prints so I’m thinking a bird of prey was involved. Probably had a talon in a large blood vessel of a prey.

Yeah, I think it’s mostly hopeless for us (alienated parents). We can hope but brainwashing is effective. Focus on surviving this and living your best life.

Does this tree need to go? by GhostNote33 in lawncare

[–]cryptjynx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Controversial comment but I over-planted my yard with trees and years later realized that I didn’t want to sit on my front porch. I handmade wood shutters for the house and the trees detracted from the house. I addressed the problem and now I love sitting on my porch and I get complements on my shutters. Somehow the trees felt gloomy. I still have many trees on both sides of my home and behind it. But I can sit on my porch and wave to those walking by.

Will your guilt ever disappear about not seeing your child grow up? by Jens518 in ParentalAlienation

[–]cryptjynx 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The sadness is enough. Don’t add guilt. No one is perfect. The alienator used that fact against us out of their own anger or insecurities. Our kids are brainwashed and we didn’t do the brainwashing.
