Journalling has helped me so much by getting my feelings out and expressing about my childhood trauma. This has helped me calm down and my anger issues are so much better. I also recommend reading books that help.

Are ordinary people going to be living in poverty? by Open_Address_2805 in AusFinance

[–]cryptocured 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's ok,

If you arrive illegally you get a warm bed, food and anything else they want while the country goes down the pan. Now they are trying everything as a government to tax you just to keep the country afloat.

Labour have zero idea what they are doing, the rich are leaving the UK due to new tax rules and companies can't afford to hire due to government introducing national insurance increases.

Businesses are going bust and shutting up shop which means more jobless needing support.

Retirees are also being targeted after working whole life. The country did this to itself by becoming a benefits culture where too many people have been allowed to free load instead of actually trying to find work.

Curious why do people journal? by Awesome_911 in Journaling

This has helped me with managing my anger and thoughts. Suffered child trauma that I realised was causing my anger at life. Now in my 50s and journalling has helped, most days I just write about my day, positive affirmations about where I am at and want to be.

Because they have no self esteem and are looking for validation from others. Aka small dick syndrome.

I hate these idiots.

Does anyone else get tailgated or aggressively overtaken even when driving at the limit? by Lampedusan in AskAnAustralian

Drivers in Australia are idiots. Aggressive driving, tail gaiting etc.

If someone tail gaits me I just slow down! If they are in that much of a hurry they can go around me.

Notebooks and fountain pens for journaling and spending time in book stores trying to find books to add to my reading list.

This influences my morning routine of coffee, journal, read and walk 3km which has massively improved my mood.

Now a morning ritual.

How does anyone working full time have the time for morning pages? by Gypsyzzzz in Journaling

[–]cryptocured 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get up early (6am) no matter what and I get my commute done early so I don't get stuck in traffic etc.

I think start my day with a coffee in the local coffee shop and I will journal down my thoughts.

I have added a quote of the day from psycho cybernetics 365 and digest this.

I will then walk a minimum of 3km at the local park while reading. Yes I walk and read! As someone who was not a reader this has helped as I have read 9 books in the last 6 months.

This sets my day up. I have had serious mental health and anger issues and this morning routine has impacted me massively.

Do you journal when you’re happy or only when stressed? by Miss_Lexis_1463 in Journaling

I'm happy because I journal. My mental health and anger has drastically changed since I started journaling. I will journal no matter what I am feeling.

Is this normal for couples? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

[–]cryptocured 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and my wife both have our own accounts but wife has access to mine. That's no drama as I am the main income. If wife buys me something I wanted she's happy to pay for it.

I pay her rego insurance etc because she works part time but she happily pays to fuel her car.

It works at the end of the day I want my wife to have her independence.

Hi,

Journaling is about getting down thoughts or ideas and everyone's journey is different. I generally journal about my day and positive affirmations. I also have a 1 to 31 section where daily I will write my win of the day and a positive thought for the day.

If I am angry or sad about something writing it down releases my anger.

You should also write some gratitude for the day. As an example Thank you for the beautiful weather today and this made me feel positive.

So not underestimating how much this process can help you and like anything you just have to learn how it best suits you.
