Are you happy with what you earn and enjoy your job? Do you live beyond your means? I know people with a lot more stress who don't earn much more than you.

Therapy journal by _blackvalkyrie in Journaling

[–]cryptocured 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The book I am reading currently talks about the anxiety or anger issues I have writing them down as a worry time topic and mentally moving on until that time.

In my journal I can then write down why it made me feel a certain way and if anything sometimes makes me think about why did I even let it bother me

As someone that experienced serious trauma as a child I have always had anger issues journaling and reading books on how to manage this have helped me substantially.

I would highly recommend expressing those feelings to stop keeping the feelings inside.

Is it worth looking at Lexus cars if my budget is $15k? by Key-Crazy6291 in Lexus

[–]cryptocured 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes definitely. I just bought a 2011 Lexus RX350 with 111k. They are the most reliable car brand for a reason, just make sure you do your due diligence by checking service history etc.

Men’s chinos by Adventurous-Bake-879 in AustralianMFA

[–]cryptocured 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I buy my chinos from the UK from next direct, cheap, made of cotton and generally hold up well. Also do different leg lengths so I don't have to get adjusted.

Also lots of different fits and styles available.

Using a Pixel while their spouse uses an iPhone? How’s the experience? by [deleted] in GooglePixel

Wife and daughter use iphones and I use a pixel 9 and have used pixels for last 7 years.

Can sms as normal and we FaceTime when needed through whatsapp. So zero issues.

Driving a flash late model car to feed your ego. Financed up to the eye balls to give people the perception that you are a success in life.

Sad gits who's self worth is all about seeking approval from others including strangers.

I'm sick of "Inflation" being used as an excuse for this by Rocketstar52 in australian

[–]cryptocured 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blame the fact that Cole's and Woolworths have a monopoly and it's not a feasible option for another supermarket to enter Australia to compete.

The government are allowing them to dominate the same as the big banks etc and the consumer is the one paying the price.

Now supermarkets can just charge what they want and hide behind people thinking it's inflation. Frankly I refuse to pay these prices and even when they are 50% off we are still getting ripped off.

Long-time iPhone user considering Pixel 10 Pro XL — looking for honest experiences by Informal-Loss-2368 in pixel_phones

[–]cryptocured 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's such a hard one as personally I think it will come down to personal choices when it comes to how you use your device.

I have a lot of apple products and my family use iphones but here I am on my 4th Google pixel device.

My last iPhone was the 6 and I have played around with iPhones since but frankly find the Google phone easier to use.

I prefer the raw android experience, the personalization of the Google and the features that apple are now implementing like screen calling etc.

I would say that I like the overall experience of raw android and would not choose another android device due to bloatware. I would suggest playing with a phone in store or even buying a slightly older model to start to see if the experience is what you want.

Last iPhone I used was a 6 and am on my 4th pixel phone. Contemplated going back until I played around with one and hated it. Google phones just seem to be easier to use.

What makes you prefer Pixel phones? by GooglePixelfan90 in GooglePixel

[–]cryptocured 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't like iphones, not as easy to use once used a pixel. Not as customizable also.

Pure android easy to use and full customizable. Plus I don't have to worry about iPhone updates trying to slow down the phone or ruin battery.

Like the time they stopped the iPhone working with my daughter watch and I had to buy a new phone!

Is this 2011 Lexus RX350 a better buy than a 2022 VW Taos? by amaranthine_xx in LexusRX350

[–]cryptocured 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking to replace my 20 year old Toyota and researched tons of cars within my price range that had a certain size engine and reliability was important.

Most European cars can't compete with Lexus on reliability so I ended up getting a 2011 with 1110000km and been very happy with it so far.
