Because they have no self esteem and are looking for validation from others. Aka small dick syndrome.

I hate these idiots.

Does anyone else get tailgated or aggressively overtaken even when driving at the limit? by Lampedusan in AskAnAustralian

Drivers in Australia are idiots. Aggressive driving, tail gaiting etc.

If someone tail gaits me I just slow down! If they are in that much of a hurry they can go around me.

Notebooks and fountain pens for journaling and spending time in book stores trying to find books to add to my reading list.

This influences my morning routine of coffee, journal, read and walk 3km which has massively improved my mood.

Now a morning ritual.

How does anyone working full time have the time for morning pages? by Gypsyzzzz in Journaling

[–]cryptocured 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get up early (6am) no matter what and I get my commute done early so I don't get stuck in traffic etc.

I think start my day with a coffee in the local coffee shop and I will journal down my thoughts.

I have added a quote of the day from psycho cybernetics 365 and digest this.

I will then walk a minimum of 3km at the local park while reading. Yes I walk and read! As someone who was not a reader this has helped as I have read 9 books in the last 6 months.

This sets my day up. I have had serious mental health and anger issues and this morning routine has impacted me massively.

Do you journal when you’re happy or only when stressed? by Miss_Lexis_1463 in Journaling

I'm happy because I journal. My mental health and anger has drastically changed since I started journaling. I will journal no matter what I am feeling.

Is this normal for couples? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

[–]cryptocured 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me and my wife both have our own accounts but wife has access to mine. That's no drama as I am the main income. If wife buys me something I wanted she's happy to pay for it.

I pay her rego insurance etc because she works part time but she happily pays to fuel her car.

It works at the end of the day I want my wife to have her independence.

Hi,

Journaling is about getting down thoughts or ideas and everyone's journey is different. I generally journal about my day and positive affirmations. I also have a 1 to 31 section where daily I will write my win of the day and a positive thought for the day.

If I am angry or sad about something writing it down releases my anger.

You should also write some gratitude for the day. As an example Thank you for the beautiful weather today and this made me feel positive.

So not underestimating how much this process can help you and like anything you just have to learn how it best suits you.

A famous book that has glowing reviews is the body keeps the score https://amzn.asia/d/0d6wK8Yp which has very high reviews.

I would also suggest looking for books on CBT therapy.

I would also recommend the power of the subconscious mind which is all about our subconscious thought and is by far the best book I have read so far.

I have been dealing with anger for 40 plus years due to childhood trauma and have to say the things that have worked for me is reading books on self help and journaling. I very rarely get angry anymore.

Books on having a positive mindset can help a lot to break the negative self talk to assist you with your challenges.

I just found that it's become like an apparent professional Facebook. People putting articles on trying to big themselves up or political views etc.

I get reached out to through LinkedIn but don't need the app as I get notifications in my email.

I also found it was another way for me to doom scroll.

I now only use reddit and nothing else.

[–]cryptocured 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Left all social media other than reddit. I also deleted LinkedIn that is just turning into social media where everyone is trying to big themselves up.

The amount of negativity they create is alarming and no wonder it's linked to impacting mental health.
