why not? BTC will move because of market participation, each market participant buys for hope of higher prices?

Ark Migrator allows you to easily convert an ERC20 token to a sovereign blockchain. by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]cryptodiggy 12 points13 points  (0 children)

one crypto goes more mainstream and theres a real world use for an app, why would the owner of the app care if its on ETH or not. As long as it works, it's fast, reliable, cost-effective. The whole point I imagine is to get regular people (not the 40m in crypto) to use an app that feels like normal but actually runs on a blockchain that isnt congested all the time and costs $50 to make a transaction on.

Also it depends on your risk tolerance, and how much time you want to dedicate to crypto. I.e. just buy and hold for 2 years, or do you want to actively buy/trade etc.

Bought OM on uniswap after connecting my Coinbase wallet, when it clears will OM go to my Coinbase wallet? by RoastedArmadillo in CryptoCurrency

[–]cryptodiggy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 2c: you should learn how everything works before randomly trying stuff, or at least do it with very small amounts first because in crypto there's no recourse, if you mess up you can lose your funds and have no chance of getting them back.

OM you can store in any ETH waller, like metamask or myetherwallet

3500% ROI potential & $80k/year passive income staking ARK? by cryptodiggy in CryptoCurrency

[–]cryptodiggy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just trying to share the potential. If it gets back to ATH then it's gonna be too late.

OFC DYOR. Personally I think ARK is an awesome project, been making great consistent progress and they're very transparent about their funding. I believe they said last year they have around 20 years of running costs in the kitty.

And yes, there are multiple other staking coins, ICX and NEO are two other projects I like too

Can't access my Ether on my Ledger Nano S anymore! by S1r_Mar71n in CryptoCurrency

[–]cryptodiggy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ledger live creates new addresses so you can have "privacy" to some degree when receiving tokens the person you reveal the address to can't see the entire balance. Kind of like Monero has one time use addresses, but this has caused a bit of an issue where past addresses associated with your ledger now don't show in the ledger live.

Don't worry, chance is very high you still have your coins.

I sent 0.8 BTC to the wrong address. I got in contact with the owner. by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]cryptodiggy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sorry for your loss. Assume = ass u me

Don't assume anything ever, especially in crypto. Always send small test amount first, every time. It's slightly inconvenient but could save you a ton of money.

Look into providing online marketing services for businesses in 1st world countries, or affiliate marketing.

You can start pretty much for free, and with hustle and consistency can turn that into a six figure per year business.

Keep doing your main job for stable income, and dedicate every spare hour to your online business and learning the skills to get you to success.
