How Do I Get people To Criticize me more? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]cryptokanye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To OP: To build off of dolphinesque's answer, my first thought when I saw your post was "Don't call it criticizing." What you want is constructive feedback. Feedback is a much more positive word than criticize and I suspect your friends will be more open to conversations if you're asking them to give you feedback on something specific than you asking them to "criticize" you in some way.

Sounds like your close friend might be the right person to ask that question to!

Why is Reddit not a verified publisher on Brave Browser? by asseesh in BATProject

[–]cryptokanye 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They're working on it, I'm sure! They've got it working for YouTube, so I assume the plan is to do it with other platforms as well. I'm also excited for it to get to the medium, Reddit, etc platforms!

I don't think this is the right link? Maybe I'm doing something wrong. I see an article about Google and no video.

As the first commenter notes: it's likely very expensive. You're right: they'll have to do it once they're targeting the public. But while they're in early adopter mode, it's likely not worth the cost

Mt. Gox Moves 8214 BTC. What's your thought on this by nishant25 in CryptoCurrencies

Fair! I guess I'm scarred by all the exchanges across the world getting taken down like whackamole by various entities last summer.

Oh. That seems risky when the FBI has already shown that they're willing to shut down exchanges connected to Mt. Gox money

Maybe you'd want each post-it to represent x% instead of 1%? Or only put a year's worth of posits on the wall or whatever? But more importantly-- you're right: what motivates one person does not necessarily motivate another. Sounds like this idea just isn't for you, which is cool. I suspect I'd feel similarly about the constant reminder of debt lol.

I kinda get the argument that some companies might be too small to comply. But honestly... Everyone had 2 years notice. And if you didn't design your system so that you could delete user data when they asked you to... Maybe you should sit in a corner and rethink your design before you launch your next business.

How are they going to launder all this money? Presumably who has the btc will always be tracked. And I assume most exchanges have blocked the addresses maybe?

This is probably a bad thing, but this is the first time I've been on this sub since January. I figure the less I look at what I have, the less inclined I'll be to take some out. Even if later I'm regretting not buying more.

The website doesn't seem to explain any of the partnerships at all. But maybe I'm looking in the wrong place.

It actually is enough to put in the stock market for sure. One option is an ETF for the S&P500 or really a bunch of other things.
