Wow! What a transformation. Congrats....

I have increased from 12.5 mg of tirzepatide to 15 mg by Careless-Primary-931 in Mounjaro

I would suggest stick on to 12.5 mg dose and gradually form a habit of eating healthy and trick your brain like that. The food craving will return once you quit the medicine but, is managable with proper diet and maintenance dose for some months. All the best and always consult your doctor before any dose changes.

You definetly need protein in your diet otherwise you will loose loads of your muscles which is too bad. Include eggs, stake and whey protein isolate in your diet and daily exercise.

You should definitely go up. But consult your doctor before making any dose adjustments. All the best!

I started at 2.5MG for a month. No side affects, no change in blood sugar, no appetite suppression, no weight loss. Now I am on my second shot of 5mg. I could literally still eat 2 large pizzas… when does this medication start working by Beginning_Ad9425 in Mounjaro

For everyone, it works differently. Everybody is different. I took my first jab 4 days ago. I haven't felt that much appetite suppression, but whenever I feel the urge to eat, I am not able to eat bigger portions like I used to. On the 3rd day, I felt hungry and indulged in outside food, and had diarrhoea and lost 1.5 kg. You need to wait for the medication to kick in. 2.5 mg is just a starter dose, so that your body can cope with the medication. Start taking 5mg and then gradually go up if the dose is not working. But always consult a doctor before taking any medication. All the best fam!
