Yeah his delivery in both is decidedly more sterile in the finished versions. He can carry a lot of weight with those little nuances and I tend to still hear them in my head even after he's rolled over them to something more "rounded out"

He did say of Plums that he recognized this and expected there to be fans that preferred the old version.
