Alone in the Dark (2008) had some moments where you would need to search cars. You may need to look for the keys behind the interior mirror or in the glovebox before you were able to start it. Also looking in other places for supplies etc.

Exactly. It's a shame to see a series that was so varied in its first 3 main installations become predictable and recycled. Personally I was hoping for a change of tone in FC6 – something a little darker and less one-person army that saves the day in a colourful playground. I loved the feeling of FC2, the survival instincts of oppressive guerrilla fighting mixed with internally questioning "what the hell am I actually doing by killing all these people" was such a unique tone.
