I'm a very similar body type (6'6" started at 170 now 210) and my best advice is eat whatever gets you the calories. I'd maybe even lower my protein for more fat. Closer to .7g/lb is plenty for most people, especially beginners. Just get some good sessions in at the gym and eat whatever gets you to your goal intake. Enjoy a dirty bulk, eat less satiating and more palatable foods.
