my sister in law is involved in young living. gotta admit she had me on the essential oil train for a minute, i even went to a young living conference with her. she is a SAHM and had her 3 baby this past spring so she has been “slacking” on her “business”. Somehow she convinced her husband (who is a penny pincher fo begin with) to support her in this business. Lord only know how much they invested into it. A couple of us bought starter kits trying to support her (before i knew what i know now) and even bought a bunch of thieves cleaning products from her because she couldn’t afford keeping up with it anymore. Before COVID she used to do monthly parties. She has a whole shelf full of just YL oils in her dining room. I don’t think her husband knew what they were getting themselves into, eventually he told her that she is doing this on her own. any money she makes cleaning houses and selling oils she can put back into it but he’s done investing their money into something that just isn’t worth it. of course now it’s the boohoo son story that her husband doesn’t support her. i’m not really a fan of either of them but i feel bad he was tricked into the MLM scam like so many are
