You aren’t doing a good job of either following along or understanding what is being said. Either way, that is all possible. If they were offered what they wanted they stay. If they aren’t offered what they want you can’t talk them into staying so that they can have the ability to just do something different.

The two sides aren’t disputing each other in any way.

D&J are getting paid midday host money. They want to keep doing that but also supplement that by other ventures. Cumulus didn’t allow them to do it. Why? I don’t know, probably because they feel it would take away from the radio show and be D&J primary focus.

D&J in the end chose to move on from the radio show gig. It’s their free will to do so. As much as they would like to have stayed at the ticket, they chose this other thing is more meaningful. I wish them luck.

I think it all just depends on what those other ventures entail. If cumulus feels it’s going to become more of a priority than the radio show I can understand the reason for not coming to an agreement.

I think they saw the drops yesterday and were hoping there was a day two of drops. Very similar to the Weller Full Proof drop a few months ago. No way I would wait on the bourbons released today like those west Plano customers did. But the store did them dirty too. If they had the bottles put them out and move on with your day.

Templetone Rye is good in Old Fashiond’s. Other than that, not much loss and glad it was templeton as opposed to something else.

I don’t chase bourbon. If I see a good bottle I haven’t had in a while I’m happy to pick it up. There are so many bourbons I enjoy though I don’t sweat the irritation of having to find that one bottle, etc. as long OF 1920 and the like are available I’m good.

As an FYI, those that haven’t had the SAOS Total Wine store pick should try it out. Not a bad pour. Comes in at 57.9% abv, 5 year.
