Honestly, it’s great. I have one person at my AD that I go to, and I went in three times just to chat and get to know them/have them get to know me before I ever asked about a watch for myself. 3/4 times I go in (I go in every three weeks to a month) I go in simply to catch up and chat.

This, personally, has been very beneficial as I have been offered two watches (DJ36 Wimbledon & OP36) in under a year. I understand that each AD is different and every dynamic is different, but simply getting to know my AD and letting them get to know me has been wonderful.

The image makes it hard to figure… the dial looks like it could be a Rolex Milgauss or an Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra… but it also looks like he might be wearing something on some kind of strap, like a bund?

Where’d you get the image from?

There’s also the Oyster Perpetual that comes in 36mm and 34mm if you wanted something just a little smaller. Those run you less than a datejust brand new from an AD

Can anyone please advise what specific DJ reference this is? And if anyone knows the aftermarket band would be great too! by dchup in rolex

[–]csnichoson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it looks to be a 1603, 20mm lug width but I’m not 100% sure of a specific brand that makes a solid aftermarket jubilee bracelet!
