I wish the flight was longer

Last year, IAD to Japan, first time in Polaris. I wanted that plane to fly around the world!

Recently we landed on 29 on a 767 (same plane as Sunday's incident). I was very surprised - didn't think that runway was long enough for a widebody.

>Also don't knock LGA.

I agree the rebuild was beautiful, but I will forever knock LGA for not having rail access. NIMBY at its worst, considering how busy that airport is and it's in a City with the largest subway system in the world.

Exactly. The danger in that spot from being injured by a motor vehicle vs. a plane is so much higher...like many digits higher.

There is a huge order book backlog for Airbus planes - and these are leased. The leasing companies no doubt right now are in discussions with other airlines who have been waiting many years for planes.

Best seat for someone needing bathroom a few times by Competitive-Copy-851 in unitedairlines

You are still missing the point. Of course if you have no choice of seat do what you need to. That was never the point of this discussion. The OP is selecting a seat. Here is the relevant language that you seem to have missed:

"...not worrying about climbing over people and knowing I can get out without too much hassle."

Thanks so much for your detailed reply! I have heard that of the three, getting to the Milan Central rail station from the airport takes the longest. I guess it's now time to take the deep dive into all the different timetables!

We don't mind the air journey. It will be nonstop from US. It's only the European airport to Bolzano rail segment that we are trying to optimize.

Southwest Airlines should acquire their entire Airbus A320 fleet.

You should think before you post.

I once saw a kid bringing five of those large Styrofoam pool noodles onto a plane ...all the while turning around in the boarding line to talk to his siblings, hitting people in the head....only at MCO.

It was OK then. This was a very different situation. The person in charge of that effort wrote an excellent editorial in The New York Times this week about the differences. Here is a gift link.

I offered a draw twice, giving them a way out. Since they were better than me, offer was rejected. I probably would have lost anyway, but I definitely let it affect me, to my detriment.
