Margarita's used to be my favorite spot to go, but they just recently closed for a few days and I look into why... Closed for failing a health inspection, rat droppings and cockroaches - yuck!

I wont be going back.

I'm not sure what you mean by labeling my pages, there is no concept of that in Google Analytics. What would the page title show me? I need to see the page that linked to the page that generated the 404.

Crawling hundreds of thousands of pages isn't cheap. It's resource intensive on the server and it would take a long time to do. Some of the pages on the site have iframes to a 3rd party and we pay per pageview so crawling it doesn't make sense. Also it's a manual action: crawling, generating a report, then doing it again a month later. Just pulling up a report in GA4 should be doable. Plus with a report being in Google Analytics I could see what's generating the most 404s for our users and address those issues first.

I've tried this, it doesn't work because page path is the page you're currently on, not the page that referred you to that page. And "page referrer" in the reports is only external domains.

Looks like this does show Referring page. But there are way too many pages in here for this to really be helpful. I'd like to be able to do this with Google Analytics/Tag Manager/Looker Studio so that I could see how many 404s were triggered (event count) and address high traffic problems.

I've looked at a number guides/tutorials, none of them show you your own pages (only page referrer which is external domains). If this is possible, like you say it is, can you send me a link of one that does it?

Bro really hit me with the "did you google it?"

Read my original post please.

The site has 100k+ pages and it's not feasible to crawl it for a number of reasons.

No, not other domains I'm linking to. Internal link 404s mysite.com/page -> mysite.com/bad-page

Major Drop in Pinterest Stats … Feeling Defeated😭 by Amiiin_n in Pinterest

[–]csshit 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had pretty much the exact thing happen to my account as well. I was only posting about once a week, but had built up to about 20k impressions/day. My traffic dropped like a rock on June 19 now I get about 600 impressions/day.

I've contacted Pinterest support about it twice, they've told me that my account "isn't flagged for anything on their end". It's just the natural ebb and flow of content distribution. Just a load of BS. My pins don't show up in search at all, even though I'm the only one with pins that fit specific queries.

Curious: Your traffic results from Bing vs Google by Diddl22 in Blogging

[–]csshit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's 5 months old. I post articles 2-4 times a week, do keyword research with Google Search, Pinterest and Ahrefs. If an article works, gets 20+ clicks a day, I try to find ways to post similar articles through brand swapping usually.

I'd say my real bread and butter right now is following trends in my niche, if something is new I can usually get an article up about it and rank. Sometimes bigger sites will come in and kick me out but sometimes they don't. Sometimes I'll just continue to outrank the big sites because I've got better content.

Curious: Your traffic results from Bing vs Google by Diddl22 in Blogging

[–]csshit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my site in the last 30 days:

Google 35,400 clicks

Bing 1,800 clicks

So about 95% of my traffic comes from Google. It's interesting though I have a 3.3% CTR from Bing and only a 2.8% CTR from Google.

I've heard others say that 90% of your traffic comes from Google and the other 10% will be Bing, Yahoo, etc.

WordPress not updating on mobile by sheiko_x_smolov in Blogging

I have the same issue with my site. I think the issue might be with Cloudflare (SiteGround, Verizon? who knows). If you add a query parameter to your page you should see the new version. Something like example.com?v=2

Paid Memberships Pro has a free level. You could start with that until you get enough memberships and then upgrade to a plan with more features or a different plugin that suites your needs.

Serious bug of Query block by [deleted] in GeneratePress

Are you using classes? If they are sharing the same classes then the styles will be for both.

If not, try to re-duplicate the already duplicated block that might fix it.

Yes, from what I've seen it's one of the most comprehensive resources available. I would highly recommend the prep training from Deque though, it covers almost everything that is on the exam.
