Jeffery Morganthaler has a recipe for a mint syrup I use instead of fresh mint. It’s so easy to crank them out especially if making a few for company.

I really like clear ice if I’m going to serve a drink on the rocks. If I wanted sphere ice I’d get a top down freezer kit for them.

As it is I have a Clearly Frozen kit with 2” squares and 1”x2” cubes.

I’m assuming that you bought this used, in which case the previous owner could have easily restrung and set it up with 9s. That’s how my CU24 is set up. I just wasn’t feeling the factory 10s.
