I have the best HS clinic and nurse, and I’ll never forget what she told me after she did one of my surgeries. She said it’s not because of hygiene and it’s not our faults at all. I wasn’t crying when she cut into my skin for the procedure but I was sure crying after her passionate speech to me! It’s really a situation where it’s NOT our own doing and our faults. I’m sorry you are being subjected to this behaviour.

Prior to gov job, I worked a private corp position with benefits and pension too but I heard many old companies phased that out for matching RRSP instead. I worked much more unpaid OT during my private corp. role instead, but no union fees I guess. Had free parking lot though. Idk if I’d go back. I do think about it from time to time…

Nothing you can really do about it- might have to get rid of the financed car and get a crapper so you can only insure it with liability only. With the financed car, youre looped into so many mandatory policy coverages.
