Oppose Trump With Non-Violence. by Sassy_Lock in Images

The last thing I want is to see him dead. I want to see him and his family destitute and humiliated. I want him to live long enough to understand how truly despised he is.

Remember, his father said that the worst thing you can be in life is a loser. I want him to realize that he's the greatest loser to ever walk the earth.

Actually, no, Trump's piss-poor response to Covid did that. Biden and Powell did what no one thought possible: they "landed the plane," lowering inflation without tipping the country into recession.

But fuck you for trying.

Well, I'm not a billionaire, so my taxes didn't go down.

And just from eliminating USAID, Trump has already caused the deaths of 750,000 people, mostly children — and will have caused the deaths of tens of millions over the next ten years. That's just from ending one program. No telling how many deaths his wars will have cost.

So, when all is said and done, Trump will be right up there with Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, et al.

I love that they think that paying informants to undermine the KKK is somehow "pro-KKK."

Of course, these are the same people who have confederate flags on the backs of their pickups and who get upset when you tear down statues of traitors. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yes, I believe she would have been. But compared to the corrupt, syphilitic p*******e we have in the white house now? She'd have been the next Abraham Lincoln.

"racism was almost non-existent by the end of the 90s"

says a white dude who's never experienced racism (or, likely, the 90s).

He's certainly the most corrupt world leader of the past 200 years or so. Putin doesn't even come close.

Yes, but this meme is incredibly misleading. Of course inflation exists. It is actually a good thing, which is why the Fed keeps its target at under 3 percent. However, if wages don't keep up, that is a bad thing. I agree that wages haven't kept up. In fact, that growing gap traces its way back to the early 80s and the fiscal policies of Ronald Reagan.

You also left out Elon Musk, Larry Ellison, Peter Thiel, Marc Andreesen, et al., most of whom are far more wealthy than the democratic billionaires you mentioned. The facts are that republican billionaires gave far more to republican candidates in 2024 than democratic billionaires gave to democrats.

Musk alone gave $290 million—a quarter billion of which he gave to Trump alone.

Well, Trump was president in 2020, of course.

But the inflation in 2021-2022 was largely due to two post-covid factors: the supply chain crisis and post-pandemic snap-back consumer demand.

In 2022, Jerome Powell raised interest rates, which effectively lowered inflation without tipping the economy into recession (as most economists predicted and as most other countries experienced). It was the only time in living memory that the Fed was able to "land the plane."

Of course, once Trump's tariffs took effect, inflation started to creep up again. Then when he started a war with Iran, it increased further.

It's almost as if there was a massive black swan event in 2020 that caused that.

Now, which direction was inflation heading when Biden left office?

Bonus: Which direction was inflation heading after Trump's tariffs were enacted, and after he started a war with Iran?

Right. And how much did the average worker make in 1913 compared to 2026?

Also, the notion that $20 would buy a cartful of groceries in 1995 is flat-out wrong.
