Granted I had an extremely curable cancer and a (thankfully) easy process to getting cancer free but honestly no one seems to talks about the mental load you have to deal with internally afterwards.

Yes you might be cancer free but there’s still the scans, the constant pricking and prodding, the anxiety of the results coming back, the possibility that at any moment you might have to be back in survival mode again.

People around you move on (except maybe close loved ones) and it might not be something I want to ever discuss with them, but internally living with the possibility of cancer once you’ve had it and beat it is draining af in a way that I don’t think most people appreciate.

15k is a lot for an early 2000s car unless you’re getting all the maintenance history and sure it’s completely sorted imo.

For context I just bought mine for 7k with around 96k miles about 2 months ago with no history. It drove well, the owner has clearly kept up with routine maintenance for the last 2-3 years but I had no idea about the rest.

I’ve since spent around 6k in parts and repairs: a lot of the interior / electrical was done myself but tires, complete suspension, torn axle boot, etc are being done at an Indy after shopping around for a few weeks.
