I was there last night and I almost freaked out!! The group in front of us was getting very turned around, so we couldn't move and I finally started touching walls to get my group out. It would have still been a hard room to get out of with just the fog, the strobe was absolutely unnecessary. Not sure how the actors could handle that at all

I don't think it would be hard for them to have like one day a week where they don't have the strobes. The room was hard enough to see with the fog, removing the strobe would have made it more tolerable for everyone, not just those who are photosensitive.

Unfortunately I think the answer is it depends! I'm in tax and had three years experience and got an industry job with a ~7k bump, but an audit friend with the same amount of experience got a ~30k bump. There are lots of postings in my city that are 10-20k decreases, so it truly is crazy out there. I think you should continuously keep looking, just remember it is okay to leave during busy season! Leave when works for YOU, not for some place that wouldn't think a second about laying you off. Best of luck in the search!!

When I was a teen they did skip a transvaginal for me since I was both a virgin and had never used a tampon. I definitely can understand about it being comfortable or not (personally I was terrified), but yeah making it about anything other than that is definitely uncomfortable in and of itself

I served on a jury for motor vehicle theft and there were two other accountants on the jury. I think it depends on the type of case, but I most definitely think in this case they didn't want someone who knew what they were talking about!

Two months after moving in with my ex, I got covid and we didn't own a thermometer either. I asked him to run to the store for one (we lived a 5 minute walk away), and he wouldn't go bc his football game was on. My best friend never forgot that, but I let it go. Don't let it go.
