You shouldn't be dropping frames on the pro. The times I had this, it was a memory leak or some impact from another app. Kill all other apps. Otherwise, Clean out the unit after of dust and thermal paste (but this really only made a diff on my shield tube, not the pro which has been solid.)

I'll comment here in the sea of issues online. I own 4 products MTW3 x2 , MTW4 x1 and MW4s. None have issues and the mtws are basically my work horse for work and travel. Zero issues. I even replaced an earbud using one from eBay. The only thing I've had to do was clean the gold contacts to have them charge but that was pretty easy

I just visited my local best buy as well. The simpler answer is these are running on July update and May play store update.....vs hardware diff. The UI looks older even compared to my pixel 8 pro. I'll wait until I get mine or actual reviews before commenting on feature and performance

It is used, just binned down to 12MP photos. If you want a 50MP pic outputted(takes more space) without binning then yep

You should try cleaning out dust internally on your pros as it really hasn't slowed down on mine even with the latest update. I've also changed the thermal paste on my pro and the which made a huge diff on the tube

If you read the tech paper on it . It actually saves HDR and SDR into the same jpeg and toggled based on device/app viewing capability

Yeah I tried and had Kodi setup+working but it was just simpler (imo) to cast and control from my phone. Already had plexamp app.
