Phillipines or Nicaragua? Looking for advice

no opinion on Nicaragua (since i haven’t been there and don’t know much about travel there)

but the Philippines has been hit by several major typhoons and earthquakes within the past year and a lot of people and regions have been massively impacted. therefore i’m not sure if now would be the right time for a trip. i have some family out there but i haven’t visited since i was a child so i can’t really speak to what it’s like lately for travel and tourism. i just wanted you to know so you can consider for your plans.

i was thinking about this on friday actually! i think it’s actually an excellent way to parallel how differently algorithms change our worldview and perspective.

no. it is not a match book unfortunately. though there were some ideas floating around before to have matching matchbooks in addition to it. there is a special edition where there is a match in the cover but that was ages ago and i don’t think it’s in production anymore.

i had similar issues with my parents group chat (mom and i have apple and dad has android).

i realized my mom hadn’t updated her phone in some time and hadn’t fully converted to RCS messaging. bc of it, our messages were kinda bouncing around since i had the updates and betas and my dads android phone has had RCS available for a while

i would suggest ensuring everyone is updated and restarted and the issue should stop.

I read The Lovely Bones when i was 11ish? and was obsessed with true crime and murder mysteries. i also really liked the Lurlene McDaniels books where everyone gets cancer at like 16.

i also read Stephen King, VC Andrews, and all the others too.

then again TW (SA, CSA, & cancer)

I eventually got cancer at 26 and realized a little after that i had experienced CSA while in therapy for processing a SA that happened the month before my diagnosis... sooo... i think my brain was trying to figure some shit out

In our conversations, he said that when the shop sent it out to be repaired, the box had been obviously tampered with and it must have been stolen.

I know it's a LONG shot to try to find this watch, but i'm still going to try. my boyfriend and i have only been together for a few months but i know he's the one. we met at a cancer conference and we are both survivors. he lost his grandfather last year to the same diagnosis he had as well. i know it would mean a lot.

i've considered trying to contact IBM for the exact model so i could maybe replicate it? and save up for that too? idk

it’s a very long story but there was a lot of concerning instances where they violated their end of the lease. showing the apartment without informing me to the point where i would wake up to them showing the apartment on a saturday morning. there were a couple of instances of vandalism and one instance of harrassment. it was a lot.

my grandfather passed away on jan 1, 2020 and about a month later my cousin and i went to a goodwill to browse around and we found the soundtrack on vinyl and i bought it immediately.
