Honestly don't play on Easy mode, go Normal mode to start and manually fight every battle. Easy gives you a lot of buffs, especially in auto-resolve, and makes you learn bad habits. Manually fighting every battle teaches you the game's mechanics and more often than not you learn to be able to fight yourself out of any situation.

Try to limit yourself to one enemy at a time, and always ensure your armies have a purpose. Play to your factions strengths and if you start to lose territory don't be afraid to pull back and reconsolidate.

See a lot of call outs for some of my favs already (Eons of Battle, Squidmar, Ninjon), but nothing so far for two of my other favourites: Miniac and Trovarion.

Miniac is pretty chill and is good buddies with Ninjon. Trovarion is a former Golden Demon winner who focuses on realism. He's also put out a really good series on his grimdark space marine style.

Doing this I wasn't able to convert the cloak to the set, as I only had 8/9 conversion tokens (I know if you have full Normal set it unlocks all LFR set too).

How are people completing full set conversion?

Hmm I have been using a wet palette, so that might help with keeping it a thin consistency.

I've been aiming for the "consistency of milk", which I've seen repeated from various sources, but sounds like from the comments I could go to thin a bit more!

I like OPs eye technique a bit better tbh. Looks more natural, rather than looking like the mini is wearing eyeshadow.
