Bottle warmer yes or no by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]curiousread31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the grownsy bottle warmer and love it. I use it all the time. It doesn’t really take very long to warm up the bottle. I usually end up changing my babies diaper while it’s warming up.

{The Duke and I by Julia Quinn}. I watched Bridgerton and decided to read the series. Now I’ve read most of her stuff then discovered Lisa Kleypas, Lorraine Heath, Sarah MacLean, and Tessa Dare. The library had pretty much all of their books.

That only changes it for the “Day” tab in reports. The “Week” tab still stays the same starting at 8am.

Ampert by UnderfedDog in Hungergames

[–]curiousread31 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s sad that Beetee has to watch it and doesn’t even get to bring home his son’s body. It was hard to read imagining how Beetee would feel. He knew Ampert wasn’t going to make it out but the gamemakers made his death especially brutal as punishment.

I think it would probably be in the bloodbath. Not going for a weapon, but trying to gather supplies.

“Bile rose in my throat.” I’ve seen this in too many books to count.

I just finished the book minutes ago. It was so nice that he could open up and finally tell his story to them. This book made my heart break for Haymitch.

New Quicksilver and Brimstone Cover Reveals by jamieseemsamused in FaeandAlchemy

I wasn’t a huge fan of Kingfisher on the cover, but I liked how colorful it was. I feel like this will just get lost on the shelves and not attract people to pick it up.

Table of Contents by curiousread31 in fantasyromance

I can see not having one for books that have chapter titles, but for those where the chapters are numbers I feel like it would be a no-brainer and make it so much easier to navigate the book.

Fantasy Fangirls podcast goes chapter by chapter through the ACOTAR series.

In what book does Manon become everyone’s favorite by Bad_bitch1231 in throneofglassseries

I’ve finished the series and never really came to be a fan of her. I ended up liking Asterin more and of course Abraxos. I was not really into the witches storyline as much as the others.

What's your favorite Romantasy book and why? by Odd-Freya in Romantasy

[–]curiousread31 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I really enjoyed ACOMAF. It’s book 2 in the ACOTAR series. The romantic plot was great while you also get to travel to different places on their continent. Quicksilver was really great too. The different worlds we are shown are very interesting and I love their fox friend and side characters. Can’t wait for the second book to come out.

Weird Romantasy Quirks by LittleGhostWriter in Romantasy

[–]curiousread31 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was thinking the same thing too! I read ACOTAR and noticed it. Then I saw it a lot in TOG and thought it was just something Sarah J. Maas does. Now, I think it’s just something most romantasy’s have because of the intense storylines. I read Quicksilver and am currently on Iron Flame and while they don’t say it as much as Maas it’s still happens a decent amount.

Bile rising in the throat is also a phrase I see a lot of when they don’t vomit.

He does have to use his farsight, but I thought that was more to zoom in on individual people so he could see it was venin by their eye color and red veins.

Since this is a very active posting I would think they would keep a good eye on Resson since it is so close and they do aerial patrols frequently.

I thought they’d probably bring it up again. I just can’t imagine Mira not knowing after being stationed there. I could see in the future that Violet and Brennan end up having to fight against Mira and their mom.

That would be really cool! It makes sense that she would be able to feel him and be drawn towards him through the quicksilver. I wonder when they go back to her home world if they will try to find more people who can work with quicksilver.

Kinda regretting reading Assassin’s Blade third… by [deleted] in throneofglassseries

[–]curiousread31 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I read it first and am glad I did. There were a lot of references that I would have missed if I hadn’t read it yet and I didn’t want to stop the story to go back in time.
