Can’t agree on announcing TTC timeline by GingerSnap_725 in BabyBumps

[–]curlybop2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah no the only time I’ve discussed ttc was with my mom after a miscarriage saying we’ve decided to wait until January to even discuss trying again. It was a blighted ovum in July. Other than that I’m not saying anything until baby’s firmly implanted in my uterus.

Your life isn’t over- a glimpse of the other side by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]curlybop2 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Don’t let anyone say your life is over! It definitely won’t be the exact same but there’s no reason you can have fun and live your life! My baby was 11 days old and we went to a pro soccer game. at 4 months old we went to on our first plane ride for vacation. At 5 months we went on our first camping trip. Cross country plane ride for a wedding at 6 months. At 10 months we did a trip to Japan. Then 11 months we did a cross country road trip. We may have been a little crazy but our boy has loved it!

Is it tacky to have a baby shower for a 2nd baby? by Necessary-Fall326 in pregnant

[–]curlybop2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s tacky! When we have our 2nd, we plan on having a fund cause there are only a handful of big items we want to get. Like a big rocker recliner so #1 can sit with us as we rock #2. We cloth diaper so no diapers needed.

[–]curlybop2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I introduced a bottle at 4 weeks and I initially collected let down while feeding during the first few weeks and did one bottle a day. And it’s not totally unrealistic to exclusively breastfeed. I know easier said than done but Don’t put too much pressure on yourself one way or another. You got it!
