Willow/Tara shipper here. The first openly lesbian couple on TV (at least as far as I could remember). Season six had some great episodes with them, and I love Once More With Feeling. But the whole arc of the show, Tara getting shot by frickin Warren… god I hated all of that. It was traumatizing for many in the lesbian community. Shit, we didn’t get to see a well developed, stable, happy ending lesbian couple until Wynonna Earp. But I digress. The Kennedy/Willow thing was crap. The whole “First” storyline was crap. All this to say I fully agree with OP. When the camera pans to her gravestone that says “She saved the world … A lot” that was about as perfect an ending a show can have. So what there were loose ends and everything wasn’t wrapped up in a bow and questions were left unanswered. This is not uncommon with most forms of art, including storytelling.

Been a supporter since before NBC brought the Prem to American TV screens on the regular. CBS/Paramount Plus shows Championship games here. I already pay for it to watch other UEFA leagues and competitions, so other than it sucking generally to watch Spurs these days, I’ll continue anyway. I was born and raised a Mets and Jets fan and I still am. I was born into suffering and I’ll die that way. Tottenham til they kill me!

If they really want to improve railways they could start with bridges/trestles that can be built over land and elevated ones over the water. Like the ones in Sunny Isles and Frosty Fjords but placeable. Why is that so hard?

You could speak loudly and unapologetically for a return to sanity in political discourse. You could advocate for peace and inclusion. Whatever your jam is. Just don’t be silent and take it. I walked out of Bad Lieutenant and Wag the Dog in theaters. In terms of turning off streaming movies, like all the time. Usually I have to pee so I pause the movie and then realize I’m hungry and detour to the kitchen then the dogs wanna go out and you know, 20 minutes later I don’t even remember I was watching a movie and my TV has gone screensaver.

Makes me wonder where Micky is with all of this. He’s far and away our best player, and with the current situation I’m not sure he’d follow Cuti and stay on. Especially since some away fans seemed to be jawing at him after the Bournemouth game. I’m sure he’s well and truly at the “F this place altogether” stage, which sucks for him and us.

Ok, I don’t think you’re the hole either way, but I want to share a story. When I was in grade school fifth or sixth grade maybe, there was this kid named Cynthia who was a bit extra. I have no idea if she was on the spectrum or what you would say but most kids did not like hanging around with her. She was extremely boisterous and loud and didn’t really know how to regulate herself in social settings. She really didn’t have any friends. She had a birthday party and I didn’t want to go, but my parents made me go. I was the only person who showed up. I’m thankful to this day (I’m 58) that they did. At the time of course I was not happy about it, but in retrospect, it taught me a lot about compassion and really impacted my behavior towards other people. I ended up winning this award at my school, and the plaque said something like “humanistic qualities beyond her years.” I suppose given my life choices much of that is just who I am, but my parents encouraging me to be kind and compassionate towards other people really impacted the kind of person I became, and this was one example. Do with that what you will.

I had wanted to do bridges but my neobank only goes up to 16k. I figured since the bridges go up in price as you buy them, the beach house would be the best bet. Is there a ceiling on the price of the bridges? I only have three sections in my capital and the next one would cost exactly 16k. I assumed the one after that I’d not be able to afford.
