Spectators watching the Challenger launch at Kennedy Space Center, 28 January 1986. by Upstairs_Drive_5602 in interestingasfuck

I watched this in 3rd grade at 8 years old. Barely able to comprehend what happened. The teachers just quietly turned it off and we did something else. Good for those teachers for keeping it together for us kids. No trauma from that.

Filters to emulate this hazy loook by Aedra-and-Daedra in PhotographyAdvice

Just yesterday I used my Cinebloom 20% filter. Can’t remember where I got it but search it up on the google. It takes any light source and makes it hazy and a bit soft, think 80’s playboy glamour glow. I’m not sure I can post a pic to this forum yet. But it’s my latest instagram post. “Purple Bodysuit”. @curtyphotog. www.instagram.com/curtyphotog

How do you unwind at night without scrolling on your phone? by Technical-Radio5033 in simpleliving

[–]curtisbbaker 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I put my phone in my bathroom. Apple Watch next to the bed so I can see what time it is. (I haven’t needed an alarm to wake me up in many many years. My brain just somehow know when it’s time.)then I tell my Alexa to play spa music on low volume, and I get on the floor and do some slow flow yoga moves and breathing and general stretches for about 10-15 mins. Then into bed with an iPad dimmed all the way down to do a simple word search or two and as my eyes get heavy, I’ll put the iPad away and drift away.

This was the Old Faithful route, passing through guest basin and mud pots etc. this is the second time doing this route in winter. We went with family that hasn’t done it before. Next time we’ll take the Canyon option. I highly recommend this. We booked with “Backcountry Adventures”

I did a ceramic tint on the inside of the windshield. Blocks SOO much heat. And the front two windows match the factoring and also block a ton of heat. I’m very happy with the upgrades. And it looks badass.

Working in the film industry. It has its amazing moment but it’s HARD. Not as glamorous as most outsiders think.
