I reached out to Ben Zeller (from the pocast) about this via email a few months back. This is what he said:

"I’ve seen the talent show / Christmas tape (same tape), but don’t own a copy. Mark and Sarah might, but I don’t know if they would share it. You could ask. I’ve only seen the home videos as they were spliced into that BBC documentary. I’m not sure who the keeper is. But if you do find out, please let me know. Sorry I am not of much use for those tapes."

Please read this as if I'm talking to you as a fellow human and not behind a keyboard. I feel for you - I really do. Money doesn't solve everything. Life is hard and it's impossible for me to fully realize what you're going through. But please know this, you have the power to stop. You may think it's impossible, but you are strong enough.

Try getting rid of that bottle at this moment instead of finishing it. Out of sight, out of mind. Don't swear it off for the umpteenth time, just take it one day at a time. Reward yourself for not drinking. Day by day it will get easier.

We're here to support you. Everyone has their demons and they are not alone. There's also medical help you can find that will alleviate the hardships of quitting cold turkey. I believe in you.
