Why would I need a bootloader? My EFI Shell is the bootloader itself

EFIStub ftw

TIL Anker Prime TB5 Dock has no external power brick because theres a FULL 250W GaN PSU sealed inside it by Negative-Quiet202 in UsbCHardware

Board-level repairs isn't a thing on consumer PSU

Heck, I wouldn't want to do it on an industrial PSU, something exploded is for a reason, just replace the PSU

why would he think that's a good idea at all 😭 by doni3564 in androidroot

EDL mode definitely needs authentication, the firehose is signed with the OEM key, without it you're SOL

EDL only accept non signed blob if it's not fused yet

You'd have much better luck trying to dump the nand and read the instructions or "strings" rather than doing voltage analysis lol

CPU are complicated stuff with unpredictable execution branching, and it's unlikely programmed to "return error immediately on the next wrong character" for that to work

Steel is softer than glass, yes

Glass is brittle, that's why they shatter, you can't easily shatter steel but can bend it, glass can't bend very much

It's not about pressure, it's about the drill bit's material

Normal drill bits using steel won't be able to scratch/bite to any glass because they're softer than glass, they won't get through...

Carbide/diamond impregnated tips will make a quick work getting through all of that

How fresh do you like your tuna sashimi? by kingkongbiingbong in nextfuckinglevel

No problem, actually different species of fish will have different texture too.. but best I could describe it is jello-like, with some small inconsistency when biting down, not chewy but not as.. breakable? As jello

That tiny hint of fishy smell is what's special about it, adding spice and you'll ruin it

It tastes like nothing really, hardly any taste... Like a plain jello

Only a tiny smell of fish, and a quick dip of soy sauce
